PALM Foundation Course

Take your first steps with PALM and learn how to use the model, analyze simulation output, and create your own model setups. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive the PALM Level 1 Certificate.

The PALM Installation Handbook is included in this course. No separate purchase is required.

Prerequisites:
  • Working knowledge of Linux operating systems and familiarity with the command line (shell/terminal)
  • A recent Linux distribution installed on your notebook or desktop computer (we recommend Ubuntu 24.04 LTS or higher)
  • Basic knowledge of boundary-layer meteorology
